“By carving out a 1” x 1” window from a piece of cardboard, I realized that I could “magnify” portions of recognizable pop culture images and give them new life in contemporary art pieces. I combine bright, saturated color with clean lines, geometric and typographical elements in abstract pop art compositions that urge the viewer to see commercial imagery as fine art.”
